Written out day by day, including the parts nobody enjoys: the noise, the dust, and the hours your bathroom is unusable. You should know all of it before you pick a start date.
INSTALL WEEK
Floors and hallway covered, water shut at the valve, tub cut out and carried down, surround removed to the studs, everything on the truck before we leave.
The loudest day by a wide margin. Roughly two hours of it. Dust is contained but you will hear cast iron break.
No. Water back on that evening, toilet and sink usable.
New valve trim set, drain and valve locations confirmed, blocking added for grab bars now and later, pan built and sloped, walls waterproofed and flood-tested overnight.
Quiet. Mostly two people working in one room. This is the day the inspector comes if your town requires it.
Toilet and sink yes. No shower.
Pan tiled first, then walls, niche set at the height you use, cuts placed away from eye level. Left to cure overnight.
A wet saw runs outside, not in the house. Long, calm day.
Toilet and sink yes. Stay out of the shower.
Grout, silicone the corners, fixtures and trim on, glass or rod hung, grab bar installed if you wanted one, then we clean the room and the path we walked.
Short day. It ends with the two of us standing in the doorway going through the whole thing together.
Yes. Silicone needs to sit, so first shower is the next morning.

When a job needs a licensed plumber for a drain move, or a glass fabricator for custom frameless, we tell you before the estimate is signed and we tell you which day they come. They invoice us, never you.
AFTER THE LAST DAY
Signed by both of us in the doorway. Anything you point out gets fixed before we invoice.
A one-year labor warranty, plus manufacturer coverage on your fixtures.
Where one was required, the closed permit goes in your file. It matters the day you sell the house.
