What every conversion includes
- The old tub out and hauled away, cast iron included
- A new shower pan or base, sloped to the drain and set level
- Waterproofing membrane behind every tile, not just backer board
- Wall surround in tile or solid-surface panel, with sealed corners
- New valve trim and shower head in the finish you pick
- Glass door or curtain rod, hung for the door swing you have
- Blocking in the wall for grab bars, whether you want them today or in ten years
- The permit, when your town requires one, pulled under our HIC number
- Debris out and the floor swept at the end of every day
- A final walkthrough with you before we take the truck home
And just as plainly, what we don't do
A fixed price only works if the scope has edges. Here is where ours stops, and what happens instead.
- We don't move plumbing walls.
- We work inside the footprint you already have, reusing the drain and valve where they sit. That is exactly what lets us hold the price and the schedule.
- We don't do gut remodels.
- Vanity, floor tile, and lighting stay as they are. If you want those changed, say so and we'll point you to someone who does that work.
- We don't price for damage nobody can see yet.
- If the subfloor under the tub is rotted, we stop, photograph it, and hand you one number to approve before anyone picks a tool back up.
- We don't sell at the kitchen table.
- No financing pitch, no same-day discount, no three-hour presentation. You get a number and the time to think about it.
- We don't hand the job to a stranger and disappear.
- One crew, one point of contact. If your job needs a licensed plumber or custom glass, we tell you before the estimate is signed, and they invoice us, never you.

Days, not weeks
A gut remodel takes a month because a dozen trades take turns waiting on each other. We do one thing, with one crew, so it fits in 4 days.
- DAY 1 Demo Floors covered, water off, tub cut out and carried down. Walls open, everything hauled away before we leave.
- DAY 2 Rough-in New valve set, drain checked, blocking added for grab bars, walls waterproofed and flood-tested.
- DAY 3 Tile Pan and walls tiled, niche set, cuts kept off the sight lines. Left to cure overnight.
- DAY 4 Trim and clean Grout, silicone, fixtures on, door or rod hung. We clean, walk it with you, and you shower the next morning.

- What does a tub-to-shower conversion cost?
- Conversions start at $7,500 for an acrylic or solid-surface install. A tile conversion, which is what most people choose, runs about $10,500. Send photos and we'll text you the tier yours falls in; the free in-home estimate sets the fixed number in writing.
- Is the price really fixed?
- Yes, in writing, before demo day. The only thing that can change it is damage hidden behind a wall or under the tub, and then you approve a new number before work continues.
- How long is my bathroom out of service?
- 4 days. The toilet and sink stay usable throughout except for a few hours on demo day. If it's your only bathroom, we tell you exactly which days before you commit.
- Can you get a cast-iron tub out?
- Yes. We cut it in place, carry it out in pieces, and it leaves on our truck the same day. Nothing sits in your driveway.
- Do I need a permit?
- When your town requires one, we pull it under NJ HIC #13VH13918800 and the fee is already inside your fixed price.
- Should I keep a tub for resale?
- If it's the only tub in the house and you may sell soon, that's a fair thing to weigh. Ask us on the phone and we'll give you our honest read, even when the answer is no conversion.
